BioI'm Faith. I'm a military brat... in a more unusual sense of the term. That's about all I can tell you about that. Well, that, and I guess they want me back. I don't want to go back, though, I have other things I'd like to do and other people I'd like to work with.
Like my new group. Sometimes they call me the "Fat Lady" which I don't think is very complimentary at all. Not that they mean I'm literally fat. That's about all I can tell you about that.
Faith's abilities and background (FPK only):
Faith has extensive and powerful psychic abilities. At the current time, the limits of her abilities have not yet been discovered.
Telepathy: Faith can read minds and project thoughts into the minds of others, as well as communicate telepathically, and facilitate telepathic communication between two people, acting as a bridge.
Psychic Blast: Faith is capable of using psychic energy as a kinetic weapon.
Aura of Confidence: Faith is able to create and sustain a sense of trust and confidence in herself in the people she interacts with, facilitating team work and giving her an edge in conflict resolution and interpersonal interaction.
Telekinesis: Faith is able to physically manipulate objects and people with her thoughts.
Flight: A specialized use of telekinesis allows Faith to propel herself.
Teleportation: Faith can move herself, other people, groups of people, and inanimate objects between two points in space.
Faith is frequently referred to as the "Fat Lady", which is a nod to the famous saying, "It ain't over 'till the Fat Lady sings." When Faith is called in to assist in a conflict, the conflict will be ended surely and swiftly, due to the strength and range of her powers. She is called in as a last resort, when all other avenues of ending a situation have been exhausted.
Faith appears to have an extensive history with Batman, though neither party has chosen to disclose the exact nature of that history at the present time. Faith appears to have Batman's trust; he was the one who originally brought her into the JLA fold as a pinch-hitter in a previous crisis.
Faith has hinted that she was the result of military experimentation, and the military has been pursuing her, apparently to capture her for use as a weapon.
